Before it became a podcast, a book, or a media company, it was simply us; having unfiltered conversations a mother and a daughter were already having at home.
Conversations about growing up, friendships, parenting, trust, independence, mistakes, boundaries, and the moments when two people can love each other deeply while seeing the same situation completely differently.
We did not always agree. We still do not. But we kept talking.
Those conversations became Between Us: Mother-Daughter Unfiltered, a podcast built around two distinct voices and one real relationship.
The podcast was never designed around scripted agreements or perfect answers. Its strength came from allowing both generations to speak fully, challenge each other, laugh, disagree, and find their way back to the same table. As the conversations grew, so did the vision.
Between Us Unfiltered became a media company created to develop original work across podcasting, publishing, products, storytelling, partnerships and experiences centered on honest communication and generational connection.
Today, the company continues to grow from the same foundation that started it: "We follow the truth, watch the patterns, and protect the relationship through love, respect and open communication."
This is our story.

ZEYNEP YURDERI

Zeynep Yurderi Marasheski has never been interested in following conventional paths. Throughout her career, she has built brands, launched businesses, and transformed bold ideas into ventures with lasting impact.
In 2009, she founded ZEYZANI, a luxury footwear brand worn by icons including Dolly Parton, Whoopi Goldberg, Kesha, and Addison Rae. Her work earned numerous honors, including a Congressional Proclamation from the U.S. House of Representatives, Business Woman of the Year, NJ Under 40 Top CEOs, and the Business Excellence Award and most recently was chosen as one of the Top 30 Women Leaders To Look Out For in 2026.
Building on that same entrepreneurial drive, Zeynep founded Between Us Unfiltered, LLC, turning the instinct that took Zeyzani from a small boutique to a brand worn by icons like Dolly Parton and Whoopi Goldberg toward a new kind of storytelling: honest, generational, and unafraid of the hard parts.
Through podcasts, editorial content, books, and original intellectual property, her mission is to create meaningful conversations that strengthen families, deepen relationships, and inspire people to think more intentionally about the lives they’re building.
As co-host of Between Us: Mother-Daughter Unfiltered, Zeynep brings entrepreneurial insight, emotional intelligence, and a gift for recognizing the patterns that often go unnoticed.
